  • If you are feeling down, try to get out of the house – even if it is just to catch a movie, or to have a cup of coffee in a cafe. It’s the holiday season which means many people will be meeting with family and friends. Go to a club, bar, or a gathering and join in the festivities. If you know someone who will be alone this holiday season, contact them and invite them out – it will make a big difference.
  • Allow yourself to do nothing. All year we spend our time working and trying to meet other’s expectations. In this holiday season, please allow yourself some time to do absolutely nothing. Sleep all day, watch an entire season of a TV series in one session, eat a whole box of cookies… Relax – and don’t feel bad about it.
